Hey folks, just wanted to point out that a short article I wrote on ColdSpring is up at CNET's Builder.com and TechRepublic web sites. I tried to cover as much ground as I could in the space available. I'm also planning on writing additional articles on ColdSpring here on my blog that focus on individual items like factory methods or setter injection.

Have you ever thought about naming your blog Brian's song?

why would he do that? then everyone would cry after they're done reading it.

Brian's Song is the one movie that it's ok for us guys to cry after. It's really kind of mandatory actually :)

Phillip, I haven't thought of that and probably wouldn't do it. ;-) BUT now that you mention it "Brian's Blog" could be seen as a bit of a play on "Brian's Song". heh

    Hey Brian,

Really nice article! Great job. Good to see more "advanced" CF articles showing up outside the usual community hang-outs to get the word out that CF isn't just scripting any more.

Thanks Peter. That is my goal. I could just as easily write for CFDJ or Fusion Authority, but in some ways that is "preaching to the choir". My goal with the CNET articles is to try and entice folks who might otherwise never even look at CF to give it a few moments thoughts (or maybe even, gasp, give it serious consideration!)

Well, let me know if there is anyone I should send submissions to at CNET!!! Am in FAQU fall and CFDJ Oct/Nov/Dec, but can always come up with something new and would love to "share the love" outside the CF faith :->
